Do Ebay/Amazon makeup brushes really work?!

Do you have to spend £20 per makeup brush to get good quality?


Personally, I say no you don't! I'm sure in most cases you get what you pay for and if you spend £1 on a makeup brush compared to £20 on a makeup brush the more expensive one would usually be better quality, but if you don't have the budget for that (like me) then there are so many great cheaper alternatives. Ones that I have discovered that I absolutely love are these brushes from eBay and Amazon.

I think I paid around £5 for this 10 piece makeup brush set, Which is a bargain! I looked an eBay and I found ones identical to the ones I bought.

I use these makeup brushes pretty much everyday and they work perfect, I do have slightly more expensive makeup brushes aswell but I still use these ones pretty much every day, and have had these for probably about a year and a half to 2 years now, and they are still in perfect condition!

So if you don't have the budget for more expensive makeup brushes then I would definitely recommend these, they honestly work amazing!

Dome 8 Phone Case Review!

So I was recently sent a Dome 8 phone case to try, and review, so this has been sent to me but of course all opinions are honest and my own!

I was really intrigued with this phone case when I first saw it, it is basically a phone case designed to keep your earphones in the back to keep them safe and non tangled and to stop them from getting dirty and ruined in your bag. I thought this would be great to try for when I'm out and about or at the gym, because I spend so much time looking for my earphones whether they are at home or in my bag I always seem to lose them. And I think like most people my earphones ALWAYS tangle so I was very interested to try this and see if it works!

When it first arrived I thought the phone case was going to be too bulky but I actually got used to it very quickly and I didn't find the size annoying or too big

This is what it looks like with the earphones in the phone case. Once you have the case on your phone, you lift up the dome on the back and you have to place the earbud part in the holes first, then once they are in place you wrap the cord around the dome, tuck in the socket piece under the dome, shut it and then you are good to go.

Then this is how it looks, you can see it is really neat and compact and just keeps the earphones in a nice, safe, convenient place

So I have talked a bit about the product itself and now I am just going to talk about my experience what I thought and the pros and cons

So this case is definitely perfect for people that get so annoyed with losing their earphones or having to sit there for ages untangling them. This has definitely helped me with that and it just keeps the earphones clean and tidy because when I just throw them in my bag they always get so gross and dirty. So this definitely served its purpose!

Pros

• Keeps earphones in a safe and convenient case so you don't lose them

• Keeps earphones clean and untangled

• There are a few different colours to choose from

• It protects the phone very well! So if you are like me and drop your phone alot then this will help to protect it

• I don't think this is what it is intended for but I found it great for taking selfies! haha! When I opened the dome at the back it is just a good way to place and position your fingers to get a great selfie :)

• At £14.95 I think that is a reasonable price because I have seen lots of phone cases that are just plain and don't really serve any purpose other than to look nice for about £20+. But this actually protects your phone very well and is a great storage for your earphones, so I think the price is very reasonable

Cons

• One of the main problems is that you can only use the iPhone (5 or newer I think) earphones with them, which personally I cant use because they hurt my ears and just fall out. You can still use the case with other earphones but the earbuds just wont fit in the gaps provided. This was the main down side to me and the only one I really had a problem with, I think if they could somehow figure out a way that you could use any earphones with this then that would be perfect! But if you do use the iPhone earphones then this wont be a problem for you!

• Next is that it was a little bit difficult pressing the buttons, like the lock button and the volume buttons because the case is quite wide and the buttons kind of get hidden, my boyfriend found it impossible to use the buttons because he has bigger hands, but if you have smaller hands then you should be fine

• Finally, they have a few colours to choose from but I think if they made cases with more colours and more variety that would be a bonus!

So this was my experience testing the Dome 8 phone case!

Overall I think this is a very good phone case and very unique, personally I have never seen a phone case like this before so I think it is a really great idea because I know that tangled and lost earphones is a problem that probably many of us deal with

I think maybe with a few changes to the case and maybe taking into consideration the cons I mentioned, I think this case would be perfect and I would be happy to buy more, and I know other people that would love to aswell!

Ok so yesterday a Superdrug package arrived at my door and I was so excited because I ordered a few bits the day the Zoella sweet inspirations products released because of course I had to! 

I love Zoe and I have products from her other collections and these products looked AMAZING so of course I had to order a few bits!

I watched her video and Alfie's video showing them and I could not wait to get my hands on them! And that time has finally come :)

Top 4 foundations for dry skin!

Hello you lovely bunch!

Today I am going to be writing something that is always so helpful and useful
for me and definitely helped me when I was choosing which foundations to buy.

I suffer with very dry skin so when I wear foundations

it can look very dry, dull flaky and just overall gross!

So it puts me off wearing foundation completely, however I have found a few foundations

that I love and that I think work great for my very dry skin!

I have chosen my top 4, these are in no particular order and I hope you find this helpful! :)

Body shop product review

Hello again lovelies!
So you may or may not know but recently I posted a body shop haul on my blog (Click here if you want to have a read of that :)
And I thought I would test the products out for a while then let you know what I think of them!
So that is what I am doing today!

Mini body shop haul!

So I was on holiday recently and I went to a shopping centre that has loads of outlet stores (which I had never heard of before, but they are jut normal shops but they sell stuff cheaper than usual) So I thought I would have a look in the body shop, and I bought a few bits, so I am going to show you what I bought :)

I have never bought any makeup or anything from the body shop before I think the only thing I have ever bought from there was like a body moisturiser and maybe a face moisturiser, and because the stuff was alot cheaper than normal I thought I would just grab a few bits.

I'm not quite sure how much each thing cost me because they were discounted and then when you bought 1,2,3 or 4 items they were discounted even more, but altogether I spent £14 which I thought was sooo good!!

So the first thing I picked up was this clear lash and brow gel. I have wanted a clear brow gel for ages but have just never got round to buying one so I thought I would give this one a try. Let me know if you would like a review and I will be happy to do that, but I haven't yet tried this out!

Then I picked up a mascara. My mascara is running low and I have heard some good things about body shop mascaras so I thought I would see for myself and see if I like it. This is the body shop big and curvy mascara in black 01.

I have heard loads of good things about these lip balms and I have wanted to try these for ages! So the first one I picked up was this strawberry one, and I can tell you it smells delicious and I have used it a few times but like I said let me know if you would like a review.

 And then I went to the till to pay and the lady informed me that I could get another one of these lip balms for an extra 10p!! So of course I had to!
So I picked up the watermelon flavour one because I absolutely love the smell of artificial watermelon things so I had to try it. And I can also say that this smells AMAZING!!

And that is everything I picked up from the body shop! I am so excited to try these and use them and was so happy that it was only £14!!

w7 eyeshadow palette review

So I mentioned these eyeshadows in my February favourites and possibly my November favourites

I thought I would dedicate a whole post to them because that is how much I love them ♥
And I just thought I would give you a little review, and I wanted to recommend them if anyone is looking for new, cheap, eye-shadows to buy!

I know normally you get what you pay for and if you buy cheap makeup the quality isn't as good as high end makeup. But these eyeshadows are probably the best low end/drugstore/high street eyeshadows I have tried.

December glossy box and first impressions!

I have been signed up to glossy box since about July, and i absolutely love it! It is only £13.25 a month including delivery, and i am always so excited for the beginning of the month for when my glossy box arrives, its like my birthday every month ☺
You  get 5 products in the glossy box, with a mixture of full size and sample size beauty products. I'm obsessed! I am going to include links of where you can find all the products from the glossy box, and i will also include a link of where you can sign up for glossy box yourself ☺

I have been so excited for Decembers glossy box,because it is a rose gold edition made in collaboration with beauty blogger "Really Ree" 
Rose gold is my absolute favorite thing in the whole entire world, and you also received an extra product in this months box,because it is almost Christmas!!! so i was so excited, i was literally non stop sitting at my door waiting for it to arrive ☺

Isnt this box just GORGEOUS!!! I am obsessed with it this is definetly going to be going pride of place onmy dressing table, i love it so much ♥
